Can I Bring Tape Measure on a Plane ?

Those who may wonder if they can bring a Tape Measure with them on plane, the short answer is “YES”. TSA allows it.

What TSA says about traveling with a Tape Measure on a plane?

The TSA page dedicated to the rules for traveling with a Tape Measure says that it allowed to travel with it:

This rule says that you can travel with a tape measure in carry on and checked bags.

However, when someone asked the same question on “X” ( former Twitter ), AskTSA support confirmed that it is allowed but also  said that it is considered as a tool, so it should not exceed 7 inches. Of course, we talk about tape measure when rolled up.
