TSA does allow us to travel with Coffee pots.

Good question, Ethan. Coffee pots and lamp shades are allowed through security. However, the airlines regulate the type, size and weight for carry-on and checked bags. Please contact your airline to determine their size and weight regulations and any applicable fees.

So, coffee pots are allowed in both carry-on and checked luggage. However, if the coffee pot contains liquids, the liquid would be subject to the 3.4-ounce (100 ml) rule for carry-ons.
