Those wondering if they can bring their massage device when they travel should know that it is allowed to fly with them. However, the device should be subject to two things.
In this post, I will cover everything you need to know about flying with a Massage Device.
NOTICE: This article is intended for people traveling from or within the United States of America.
In fact, the information I’m presenting here is based on guidelines from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). It’s the agency that has authority over the security of the traveling public in the United States, and its rules apply whether you’re flying from or within the U.S.
What TSA says about traveling with a Massager on a plane?
If you visit the TSA page dedicated to the rules for travelling with a massager, you will simply need to see this:
This rule is clear, it says that we are allowed to bring massagers in either checked baggage or carry-on baggage.
On twitter, TSA was asked about the same thing and the answer was yes and precised that the device that could be used as a bludgeon must be packed in checked bags.
Here is the tweet :
Massage devices are generally allowed in carry-on bags, however, our officer has the final say what's allowed through our checkpoint. Items that could be used as a bludgeon must be packed in checked bags
